Dr Emily Krassaris

Osteopath

Bachelor of Applied Science (Osteopathy) / Bachelor of Health Science

Emily’s drive and passion for osteopathy comes from a love of working with people and enabling them to live a fulfilling life. Emily started seeing an osteo for her back issues as an adolescent. Her experience made her feel safe, understood and empowered. She believes in creating a safe space to have open conversations with her patients so she can help them get to the root cause of their concerns.

Emily was naturally inspired by health and movement leading to her Bachelor of Applied Science (Osteopathy) and Bachelor of Health Science. Emily has since undergone further training in clinical pilates, running analysis and dry needling to incorporate into her osteopathic consults. She also has a keen interest in women’s health and pregnancy and finds joy empowering soon to be mother’s in such an exciting and vulnerable time of their lives.

Her involvement in athletics, rowing, and Pilates have shaped her admiration for the wonderful biomechanics of the body. Her high level involvement in rowing and several years coaching has given her insight into athlete management. Emily spent several years as a sports trainer at Caulfield Grammarians Football Club. More recently, Emily has had involvement with the various run groups of Melbourne, specifically with a focus on supporting beginner runners after having led her own Couch-5km program and her involvement with Kic running.

Emily loves to live an active lifestyle. When not at the clinic, you’ll find her training for her next run or triathlon, hitting the ski slopes or on the search for Melbourne’s newest restaurants.
